Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together…

All our Hounds are of course special to us, each in their own unique way. MOLLY, however, was something just that little bit extra special to us. She was indeed a 'character', so loving & loyal, naughty & mischievous but such a kind and gentle lady and we miss her so very, very much. We are extremely fortunate that her image has been used on many items (plates, mugs etc) and we have some lovely photos of her, and of course, we have so many good memories that she will NEVER, EVER be forgotten.
Rest in peace our wonderful girl
FLIXTONIA HONKY TONK WOMAN
Passed Away 13/08/2010
Heartbroken beyond belief, is an understatement, when it comes to describing how upset we all were at losing Magic in such a way, but she crossed over Rainbow Bridge peacefully and without pain.
Holding a very special place in our hearts, Magic was, without doubt, unique and was so, so loving, not only to us but also to all of the other hounds.
We will miss those special moments when she would sit in front of us and put a paw on our knee to let us know she was there, looking out for us.
I know that she has a spacial place in heaven and she took with her all of our love, and our hearts were left broken.
The story of Magic's tragic ordeal is on her webpage.
FLIXTONIA LOVELY RITA
18/10/1999 - 10/08/2013
Rita, daughter of 'Molly', was a sweet natured and wonderful Hamilton who, because of her mischievous behaviour, gave us endless pleasure. Sadly, at 13 years of age, she passed away during the night and once again our lives were turned upside down by this sad loss. Rest in peace our 'lovely Rita'.
FLIXTONIA MARTHA MY DEAR

In her younger years
Martha, Sister to Rita, sadly passed away on 25th July 2016. She aged gracefully and had been a big part of our life for almost 17 years. We have been left with some wonderful memories of her and our home will not seem the same without her.
